The cache is located about 50 yards east of the market inside the tree line and mostly out of sight of other people. After parking, it is a short walk (about 20 feet) just past the tree line. The terrain is soft dirt, rock and some low brush, but easy enough for a child to tag along.
The new container is a bit larger and much more weather proof. Just a heads up, my GPS device was having a little bit of trouble tracking in this area due to the trees, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.
While you are there, stop in and check out the market. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The new owners are great people and have really fixed up the market (they also have a great selection of beers). This one is an easy drive up and grab while on your way to or from Tahoe. Enjoy!
