Geocache Description:

Whoops! Gotta hate placing a cache on a whim then going home and noticing another dedicated to the same thing! So, lets dedicate this cache to Kreamer&BearsKrew for placing the original tribute to 'Muddy'. Kreamer&BearsKrew started caching late 2009 and have been hiding wonderful caches since :) So lets thank them for that :D

Was out night caching and turned around to find parking for a nearby cache and saw this HUGE epic fish just sitting there. Went over and explored and figured to place a cache. Went back to the car, rigged some fishing gear together and made this cache.
Please be very careful with the cache, return as found. No need to climb into the mouth of the fish.
History of the location
Ontario’s newest tourist attraction “Muddy” the Mudcat Statue is located in Dunnville, Ontario Canada. The mudcat has long been associated with the town especially through its sports teams and proximity to prime fishing.
A three-year effort to bring the town’s mascot to fruition in bigger-than-life form has been realized. Muddy, the giant mudcat, is 50- foot long, 27-foot high statue’s permanent home at Centennial Park at the western entrance to Dunnville.
