Kelly Towles' work is another not exactly "hidden" mural, but
it's a bit off the beaten path and the largest mural in the series
so far. The fenced lot is used for parking by nearby church owners
so may be more accessible during church services, though it is not
necessary to enter the lot to claim the cache. The U Street metro
is close for commuters and there's plenty of street parking. Some
stealth may be necessary to keep the neighborhood muggles at
bay.
Bonus: The artist published a nice video:
Scout: A new mural by street artist Kelly Towles in his
hometown of Washington DC. The mural and short film explore a DC neighborhood with
a child like sense of exploration. A quick take on what most people
should do in their own area of the city.
As usual, please remember to replace just as found, and don't
forget your writing utensil -- enjoy!
** Congrats to -CLiM- and -Elle- for the FTF! **
