This was one of God_of_Caching's caches (see link). There used to be a whole cluster of shopping carts at this spot, which was the inspiration for that cache. The carts are gone now, and it was basically a landscaping victim since the trees were cut way back and the hiding spot was comprimised. The container for the final has been modified with better camo to protect it from muggles.
This one is just like all the rest in this series - Go to the first stage and get the coords. Go to the final and sign the log! Sorry about the stickers, but it was necessary to discourage muggles. You have something that they don't; knowledge! A GOOD PAIR OF LEATHER GLOVES IS HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!!!
Stage 1:
- The posted coords are an average of over 200 readings on the Garmin GPSmap60CSx. Still, they may be jumpy because of the power lines directly overhead. You can get this one right from the sidewalk about 10 feet or so down from the power pole which is at the end of the wooden fence.
- The container is just at the back of the curb under the sticker bush. Once again, GLOVES HIGHLY ENCOURAGED
- The coords for the final are on a note inside.
- It is difficult to be stealthy here as we found out with ray461's cache, so the camo and how you re-hide it is very important. Make sure you hide it well.
Stage 2:
- The cache is hardwired at the base of the bush and covered in rocks to protect it from muggles.
- Sign the log
- The same applies here as Stage 1. Stealth is hard, so camo and replacing it as found is the key to keeping this one from getting muggled.
Good luck and happy hunting!!
