Geocache Description:

Historic cemetery cache.

This is in a historic cemetery. Look closely at some of the tombstones and you will find veterans from 1776 along with veterans from 5 other wars. This town's settlers marked the burial ground on the town plat in 1805 before they left New England. The first burial was in 1806.

Restoration to the old burial ground started in 1992 and is supported through volunteers at present.

There is no parking at the cemetery so you will need to park at one of the local businesses and walk over.
This terrain may be difficult to anyone who is not able to walk a small hill.
