Finding this cache should be fairly easy. Just to keep it simple, it is up high on the inside of the porch, so it will be available year round. In the winter, snowshoe or ski in from the parking area on top of the Salmo/Creston pass. In summer, it is possible to drive right to the cabin via Maryland/Monk Creek FSR. The choice is yours! Also, motorized vehicles are prohibited during the winter. The terrain rating of 3 reflects hiking in from the top of Kootenay Pass.
