The posted Coordinates bring you to the center point in a new
Nature area in Mile Square Regional Park.
This is a very interesting place with much to see and explore,
and looking for this cache will get you to see more of what there
is here, a place I bet you have not seen before if not for
Geocaching.
Make your way to the posted location, from here there are trails
going in every direction, look for the trail that takes you to a
view of the Squirrel House, they really own this place, and if your
lucky one of them will show you where I hid the Cache.
Once you are close as you are allowed to get to the Squirrel house,
Mark the coordinates, and choose a trail to take you 315 feet away
from that spot, any of them will get you where you need to go, then
you will be looking for the Thorny Cannon, you'll know it when you
see it, such an odd item to be found in a place like this, under it
is where you will find the cache. A small container camo'd and room
for a log and small swag if you wish to trade.
I hope you have a nice walk in this cool location right in the
middle of my favorite local park!
Also be advised access is only 8AM-3PM Monday-Friday so
plan accordingly, below are trail head coords for entry
gates.
