Geocache Description:

The Myers Butte Fire Lookout was a 90 foot wooden tower that was abandoned in 1965. The concrete footings remain at the site but are quickly becoming grown over by scotch broom and other vegetation. The cache can be found within view, nestled at the base of a vine maple. *see spoiler

If you start from our suggested parking then your hike will be an easy 2 miles round trip. You will leave your vehicle at a ditch in the road and proceed until that road turns into a foot trail that will lead you up Myers Butte to the cache and the lookout site. * see waypoints
