A cache located in the beautiful, historic center of Amherst, also known as the Village.
The Village is a quiet, welcoming place with a rich historic background. While here, take a walk around the center of town, look at the various monuments, stroll through the pretty town common. If you're lucky and hit this cache on the right day the two little museums in the center of town might be open, "The Wigwam" and "The Chapel" museum, both located within easy walking distance of this cache. Admission is free to both of these museums when they are open (they have very limited hours). If you get hungry or thirsty there is a cute little convenience store nearby called Moultons, (one of my favorite places) that offers snacks, sandwiches, pizza, coffee, etc. Enjoy the beautiful Village while you are here, don't forget to stop and take a look around!
