Pour vous faire découvrir l'hôtel du département et la salle de
spectacle du Dôme.
C'est ma première cache, toutes mes excuses pour les erreurs qui
peuvent êtres faites dans la localisation. C'est aussi le point de
départ de notre Salamandre pour la région Parisienne.
Bateau bleu, Dôme gris
C’est en 1994 que l’architecte britannique WILLIAM
ALSOP achève l’hôtel du département des Bouches du Rhône, qui
pour l’époque était le plus vaste bâtiment du XX e siècle
construit à Marseille.
Baptisé « le bateau bleu » à cause de sa couleur et de sa grande
voilure, beaucoup ne lui trouve aucun charme. Pourtant c’est
bien une œuvre architecturale qui pourrait être comparée à la
cité du Fada (Le Corbusier) de par l’utilisation de pilotis,
de brises soleil et du toit terrasse.
Le bâtiment accueille les bureaux du conseil général CG13. Les
on-dit, je dis bien les on-dit, disent que la couleur bleu de la
structure serait la couleur du carrelage de la salle de bain de
l’architecte Britannique… mais je dis bien ce sont les
on-dit. Tout à coté se trouve la salle de spectacle du Dôme, elle
peut accueillir de 1200 a 8500 spectateurs selon la configuration
du spectacle.
Sa coupole rappelle la coque d’un bateau retourné et est
soutenue par un arc de 27 m de hauteur.
Boat Blue Dome Gray
In 1994, the British architect William Alsop completes the hotel's
Bouches du Rhone, which at the time was the largest building of the
century building in Marseille. Dubbed the "blue boat" because of
its color and its high wing, many did not find anycharm.
Yet it is an architectural work that could be compared to the city
of Fada (Le Corbusier) for the use of stilts, the sun and breezes
from the roof terrace. The building houses the offices of the
General Council GC13. The rumors, I mean the rumors, saying that
the blue color of the structure would be the color of the tiles in
thebathroom of the British architect ... but I say it is
hearsay.
Everything is near the theater of the Dome, it can accommodate 1200
spectators a8500 depending on the configuration of the show.
Its dome reminiscent of the hull of an upturned boat and is
supported by an arc of 27m in height.
Cette cache est située sous un bon angle pour voir ces 2 bâtiments
mais attention à la situation entre les 2 voies de la rocade du
Jarret. Je vous recommande de bien utiliser les passages pour
piétons et de tenir vos enfants par la main.
This cache is located in a good angle to see these two buildings,
but attention to the situation between the two channels of the ring
shank. I recommend you make good use pedestrian crossings and to
keep your children by the hand.
