What's My Sign, MD edition Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nighthawk700: Sigh I came to this location today to try to retrieve "What's My Sign?" but the MD Dept of Public Works is FAST. Not only did they have barricades put up already, but they already disassembled and removed the guardrail, cache and all. I walked back and removed the tag, so this cache is now completely removed and archived. Hopefully after construction is over, it'll be reborn in some new fashion. Thanks to those of you who hunted it.

After I removed the tag, a woman who was parked across the street chased after me. I thought I was finally going to meet the infamous homeowner, but it turned out to be someone not from the area who had no idea how to get to the other side of the bridge. I was able to pull up a map on my phone and direct her where she needed to go. I hope she made it. (basically turn left, left left and left, then you are there.)

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This was a popular cache/series in my old home territory of Northern VA, so placing one (to start with) here in Maryland.

The given coordinates are to one of my favorite stores, but have nothing to do with the cache location.

When you figure out the coordinates, shown in this video, head to the given location. There you will find a tag with the coordinates to the final location. (I couldn't fit a container here, and wanted more than just a bison tube for the cache).

The container is a small Rubbermaid container. Big enough for the log, maybe some geocoins or very small travel bugs. I forgot to load in any trinkets, sorry. If I get a chance, I'll swing by some time to add whatever might fit in.

I'm experimenting with Certitude, but it potentially requires you to log in with your geocaching account. For those who don't want to do that, you can do it anonymously, or use geocheck.org. For those who do use Certitude, it tracks the order that people solved the puzzle. You might get FTS (First to Solve).

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
