Way back in the 1880's The Company cut a huge gash in the womb of Mother Nature on this site. Since then, the Ross-Republic Marble Co. is long since defunct, and Mother Nature has reclaimed the area and turned it into a peaceful lake with deep blue waters.
This geocache is located along the Ijams Nature Trail, and is easily accessable from the nearby parking lot.
