This cache is a disguised PET tube hidden about half way between the entrance to the site and The Dolmen of the four Maols which apparently is a Kist and not a dolmen, it dates from about 2000BC.
The massive 1m thick 2 m², capstone sits on three stones forming three sides of a square chamber. A few meters away lies another stone which was probably the fourth side.
The tomb is situated on top of a low hill at the back of the railway station.
There is a plaque at the entrance to the site explaining the history of it and also a local legend associated with it.... Please be aware of the buildings close by when searching for and replacing the cache.
