Geocache Description:

A Celebration of the Roots of Geocaching.

This is a Challenge Cache. It is at the posted coordinates. There are logging requirements to be able to find and log this cache.

Are you tired of those challenges that require you to find 100 or even 500 caches? Or have to drive all over the state to qualify for it? If you're new to geocaching, do you see some of these challenges and think "I'll never be able to complete this one"?

Well here's a challenge that you only need to find one cache in order to qualify for it. All you have to do is find one cache on the 10th anniversary of it's hidden date. This challenge probably is easier for newer geocachers and tougher for the veteran (though it's getting easier as the years pass). And since this is an Iowa Challenge, it must be an Iowa cache that you find. Past finds do count for this challenge, but if you have already found a cache before it's 10th anniversary, that one is no longer an option for you to qualify for this challenge. When you log this cache, be sure to list your qualifying find.

As for the placement of this cache, it is on private property with permission. In fact, it's in my front yard. I'll even tell you where it is so you don't have to feel like you are sneaking around. It's in the bushes of the green house by the front porch, on your left. Please keep your searches between 8 AM and 9 PM. The dog will probably bark, but that's okay.

Good luck! You can use this geochecker: PGC Checker
