The furthest in a series of caches on the cyclepath alongside the A92 from Westway Retail Park towards Dundee. This cache contains a clue to the Westway multi. NOTE The Westway multi kept going awol so I have archived it and the series Westway 1 - 5 are stand-alone caches
The cache is a small clicklock container
As a Sustrans volunteer one of our roles is to encourage people out on their bikes. So, geocachers, ‘start biking’!! (NB driving with a short walk is also an option…) This series of caches involves a round trip of about 12 miles from Westway Retail Park in Arbroath towards Dundee. All on cycle paths apart from a few crossings where minor roads join the dual carriageway. The route is very child friendly with only a short sharp climb out of Arbroath at Elliott. This is a good route if the wind is from the west or south-west since it is in your face going out, and behind you coming back.
Before you turn for home, go and find cache ‘National cycle route 1 high road’, which is not far away, if you haven’t already.
