This cache is located on the Silver Stream trail off of Frank Applegate Road. It's a med size tupperware about 6" diameter and has 9 small starter items in it ($5 for FTF) plus a log book. The trail does a full circle, with the cache being about 1/3 the way in.
There is a sign on the road letting you know the entrance to the Silver Stream trail head. There is ample parking in a stoned lot. The trail loops all the way around. Sometimes it could be wet in the back area. Be sure to cross the bridge over the stream in the back and wander towards the Metedeconk, it's very nice back there. Just watch out for chiggers in the early fall.
The property is owned by the NJ Conservation Foundation and maintained by the Jackson Pathfinders. You can find more info about the Pathfinders and this trail and other nearby trails on their website. Please don't forget ... Cache In Trash Out, help to keep the trail beautiful for all who visit.

Here's a view of the trail with the geocache located approximately in the upper left corner of the trail (or top of the image). I highly recommend you continue to hike around the whole trail. It's not that much further, and has many scenic views and sitting areas. ...
