Camo pill bottle located in Vann Park, just south of the intersection of Lincoln and Vann.
This cache is located near Lincoln Avenue. The name Lincoln comes from a town and county in England named Lincoln. Originally the area was called lindon, the word for "pool", based on a body of water near the area. When the Romans took over around 48 A.D., they changed the name to the more Latin "Lindum" and built a settlement for veterans there, which was called a colonia. The short version of the name became Lindum Colonia. The name became shortened to Lincylene and Lincoln in Old English, giving us the surname we recognize today. Today, the English town of Lincoln is known for its beautiful Lincoln Cathedral, the Lincoln Castle (where one of four remaining copies of the Magna Carta is on display), for being the location of Celtic, Danish, and Roman settlements (among others), and for having an "Upper Lincoln" and "Lower Lincoln".
Cache has room for small trade items or trackables, but BYOP!
Congrats to Payneboys on the FTF!
