See Celery? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

sparkoloto: I'm sorry to say that yet again some low life has stolen this cache. I have therefore decided to close this cache for good. So sad that we live in a society that has so many scumbags out to nick what they can. [:(!] [V]

Geocache Description:

Can be a very quick cache if needed

Situated just South of the village of Marcham, this cache is on one of the Jubilee footpaths. See footpath map here (visit link) Nearby parking can be found at N 51 39.72 W 001 20.589
Do not obstruct the track when you park, ie park to one side. Just South of the cache you will see an uncropped block of land which is being managed to encourage rare sea celery plants. The natural salt springs in the area provide the perfect environment for this rare plant. In September to November the celery can be easily smelt.

The cache has been preloaded with some bits and pieces to get us going

Watch out for dog walking muggles. They can appear from many directions.

And finally, the foot paths can become muddy and rutted in very wet times.

Enjoy the search
