Geocache Description:

This cache is placed by a footpath from where there are views of the JET (Joint European Torus) building on the former Culham airfield.

It is a 0.2-litre black-covered clip-lock box with a few tradeable items.

It can be done as part of a series of 3 on a circular walk of about 2 miles from Clifton Hampden.
The footpath here from Clifton Hampden can be a little muddy, and depending on your route you should consider boots or wellies in winter.

JET was a European project to develop a fusion reactor with a view to it becoming a power source in the future. It is now being used for further experiments supporting a new fusion reactor ITER; for more see (visit link)

There is parking in Clifton Hampden between the church and the Thames, except on Sunday mornings, or on the north edge of the village in Courtiers Green, N 51 39.546 W 001 12.607.
