The trail to this cache is a steep climb alongside a cliff that rises above Lake Springfield. While this is a beautiful and picturesque trail, it may not suitable for young children unless carefully supervised. For safety reasons, the cache is not hidden on the cliff side of the trail. It is a camouflaged container with lots of room for trade items. Please be sure to put the cache back in the exact position. Once you find the cache, be sure you take the time to enjoy the best view in the park! Looking at the rock formations in the area and the view out over the lake, hopefully you will see why this is one best vistas in Springfield.
Cache was replaced on March 15, 2014 and put in a slightly different location at the same coordinates.
