This is part of a short circular walk (1.4 miles) designed with children in mind – there is mud, ducks to feed, leaves to scramble in, conkers to catch (depending on the season), hills to roll down, a playground and even a shop to buy an ice cream from when you are nearly back at the start point.
As you walk up to this cache from CCC 6 you walk over the remains of a Roman amphitheatre visited by people travelling down Icknield Street in times gone by.
