A nice easy nano at a wonderful spot to stop as you travel along the highway.
We have stopped at Badgingarra plenty of times but never knew this park was here. We usually stop a little bit further south. Not any more.
SHEARER ROYAL SCRUB PLOUGH
This Shearer Royal ploughed over 1000 acres of new land at “Rubicon” Badgingarra from 1959-65. A tough plough for tough conditions, it was ideal for Blackbutt, Malles and Poison bushes. In years when one million acres a year was cleared in WA. 20 acres ploughed in a 12 hour day shift was a good day with the Royal
The nano is NOT hidden on the plough discs themselves or too near them. They are rusty and sharp so be careful searching, don't cut yourself. As in look highter.
This park has tables & benches, public toilets, playground for the geo kids and grass for the geokids or geopooch to run on.
Congratulations to Chwiliwr on his FTF here and on our GCA cache nearby
With effect 23rd August 2014
Thanks for hunting for our cache. Please remember that there are only really 2 major rules in Geocaching. 1)You 'must' sign the log or leave your mark on the logbook and 2) then log online. Please do not log online if you have not signed the logbook, deletion of your online log may cause you embarassment! Remember to carry a pen or 3 with you at all times, or if desperate try resorting to charcoal as some ingenious previous finders have done. If really desperate email us with your sad tale and we will consider your 'evidence' in a private message to us. NO SPOILERS to be posted here.
