The hike should only take 1/2 hour (one way) and is on a fairly good trail. The cache is hidden on very uneven and rocky ground however.
The cache is a cammoed peanut butter jar. Permission has been given by the land owner to place the cache at this spot.
Brown's Knoll supposedly got its name from the captain of a ship that was sunk on the ledge of rock directly off of the knoll. The captain's name was Brown.
