"A young Rowan has secured a precarious foothold on this crag. Can it survive ? Will some kind reader write to the author in 1970 and say it is alive and well ?"
Wainwright, The North Western Fells, Robinson 8.
The cache is about 12 metres south west of the tree. It is under a small outcrop in the heather. The cache is a tat free small box containing a log book. There is room for trackables.
When I visited (13/11/11) the tree was without leaves -please post photo's taken in other seasons !
