A quick cache-n-dash as you make your way up I-95 along the Colorado River. All of these caches in this series are on or very near a highway turnout, so make sure you park safely! This is a cut and paste series, so feel free to treat your logs accordingly. Just have fun and enjoy this beautiful stretch of desert while you grab yourselves a few more caches along the way!
This one is just a little bit different than most of the others in this series. Should be quick and easy, just please cover it up a little when you're done. Sorry about the lame swag, I left my swag bag at home and had to rummage through what little I had with me! I recommend parking on the turnout on the east side of the road, there's plenty of room there.
As this cache has now had a "needs archived" placed on it on one occasion, it should be mentioned here in the description that no guidelines were ignored or broken in the placement of this cache. The cache is placed in something that has been here, out of place, in this desert, for longer than geocaching itself has been around. Thank you for your concerns, and feel free to contact me if you have questions, rather than rudely and inappropriately going straight for the archive hammer.
Here in the desert, we have critters that call this home too. Some of these critters are the not so friendly type that like to bite, sting, and poison geocachers. This is especially a concern during the warmer summer months. Please, please, PLEASE be careful of these desert creatures. They were nice enough to allow me to place this cache in their home, so try to respect them and watch out for them along the way.
