Geocache Description:

A caching Community Power Trail

The Pipeline Track at Neika was initially used to carry water for the early city engineers. Recently it has become a lovely walking trail leading to caches such as ...and Snuva's Sensational, and the Dragons Lair.

I have decided, after seeing a similar concept in Queensland, that this area needs a powertrail, but one with a difference.

the Pipeline Track Power Trail (PTPT) is a series that I want all cachers to be involved in.

This first cache, Wallaby, is a small cache that contains swaps of a different nature. I ask finders to swap out 1 or 2 test tubes with log sheets, make their way to the current end of the trail, and then 161 metres further on help extend the trail.

While in this area you might see many native fauna such as the wallaby. A full list of animals native to the area can be found here

Bear in mind this is Mount Wellington. It decides randomly what the weather will be and can change at a moments notice. Dress accordingly, and take supplies.
