This is my first cache. I hope you enjoy it. It is located on a public nature trail. There are maps located in a mail box located to the right of the parking lot. Along the trail there are plaques that identify different trees in the area. The path to the cache has just been cleared and the damage from Hurricane Irene is one of the worst areas I have seen. There was also a tornado that hit in 2011 in the area. Not all the paths have been cleared but path is clear to cache.
The cache is a small Lock and Lock container. There is room for travel bugs Geo-coins and small trade items. There is FTF Prize for the first person to find the cache. Cache is only a short distance off of the path. If it has rained the path could get muddy. Trail head is in the corner of the field beside the nature trail sign.
Please park in tennis court parking lot at Rappahannock Community College.
