All of the caches in this series have been placed along a portion of the Gordon Glaves Memorial Trail. This is a paved trail which will take you from Colborne Street in Brantford all the way to Port Dover, Ontario.
There is room for two or three cars to park each time the trail crosses the roadway. If you begin your trek from Colborne Street, you may park in the D'Aubigny Creek Soccer lot across the road from the trailhead.
My son, Jarhead5 and I are big Star Wars fans, and when this part of the trail became available we decided to expand our already existing "Star Wars Series" caches. This cache is part of the "Star Wars Characters" series of caches. There are 15 caches in this series. Each cache is a stand-alone cache and is NOT tied to a final cache in any way.
PADAME AMIDALA
As the Queen of planet Naboo, Padame is dedicated to ending her planet's occupation by the Trade Federation. After a failed assassination attempt on her life, she escapes to the desert planet of Tatooine with Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Here she meets young Anakin Skywalker.
As the story progresses, she becomes the secret wife of Anakin, and mother of twins, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan.
