This is the second of a series of cache’s I will place on guardrails. None of these hides are easy finds. I have chosen places where you can spend a lot of time looking without muggles close by. There is a pull off at the guardrail but don’t expect a quick find. There is a farm access gates at this location that is rarely used but please be courteous and do not block this entrance. There is room to pull off without blocking the gate.
This is an area that I have spent a lot of time arrowhead hunting. I have made several nice surface finds in this area. The name “Broken Pipe” comes from the fact that a good friend found a broken pipe in a field near this spot. Now days there is no-till farming. This has made it difficult to find arrowheads now days.
P.S. the log is on waterproof paper. You will need to use a pen, a pencil will not work on this type of paper. Bring your own pen the cache is too small for a pen.
