This is one of the most beautiful places in Burlington at sunset, or at any other time. Stop and look at the lake, the boats, the Adirondack Mountains and Whiteface Mountain.
In addition to his obvious good looks Winston was very smart. He earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) award, he was a certified and registered Service Animal for Maxi
Winston died from Lymphoma on 05/23/2015. His many caches are being maintained by Dudley. Like Winston, Dudley is an Airedale and loves to go geocaching. She will do her best to keep Winston's memory and caches alive. She wears his travel bug and looks forward to geocachers logging her in the future.
Please be sure the container snaps shut... it is fragile and, I believe, hard to find. You can judge that!
Note: There is parking near the intersection of the Burlington Bike Path & Starr Farm Road (Starr Farm Dog Park) and near the intersection of the Burlington Bike Path & North Avenue Extension. Parking on Northshore Drive or in Northshore residents parking is ill-advised.
Please use care when opening the cache and retrieving the log. Also please roll the log tight when putting it back. The log was replaced in November 2013.
Please secure and hide this cache as well, or better, than you found it.
Dudley checks this cache often and would like you to please log any DNF.
There are 24 additional Winston caches within 3 miles of his home coordinates. Why not get them all while you're in the area? Have fun!
Il y a 24 autres caches chez Winston en moins de 5 km de son domicile coordonnées. Pourquoi pas les en avoir tous pendant que vous êtes dans le coin? Amusez-vous bien!
Congratulations to TKDScouter for the first to find on this cache that would have taken me a really, really, long time to find.
