Esta praça , vizinha ao Parque do Ibirapuera, foi inaugurada na década de 60 e foi reformada em 2004 para comemorar os 450 anos da capital paulista.
As quatro estátuas da fonte - Noite, Aurora, Crepúsculo e Dia - réplicas de obras renascentistas de Michelangelo - são seu principal atrativo.
A Subprefeitura trocou em 2010 o piso de passeio, reformou o entorno da fonte e removeu eucaliptos em risco de queda. Novas árvores serão plantadas e nova reforma será feita na fonte, que não está funcionando.
É um lugar a sombra, aguardando a água fresca. :-)
This square, besides Ibirapuera Park, was founded in the 60's and renewed in 2004 to celebrate the capital 450 years.
The 4 statues - Night, Day, Dawn and Dusk - are the main attraction.
New renewing is needed - and already promised - because the fountain is not working.
Calm and fresh place waiting for the crystal fountain water. :-)
