Geocache Description:

This cache was placed to recognize the friendship and comraderie of a local cacher who I have enjoyed many caching trips with over the last few years.  I first met GPS Derek while caching in Heber Down Conservation area, shortly after the sixth sanctum series came out, and reading his exploits as his alter ego, Sir Biggest Foot.  A few months later I joined up with GPS Derek and entogeek for some caching day trips.  Next thing I knew, my cacheing choices changed forever when the three ameobas (as we were called) started on a quest to complete our 81 grid, one mini fizzy at a time.  Along the way I have come to know a cacher who will give you the shirt off his back if it means saving your life (see GC1V1GQ), is willing and able to reach those just out of reach caches, and has an uncanny ability to find fanglyfish L.O.D. caches.

I thought it was time for him to have a cache in his honour and when this container came into my hands, I knew it was the perfect choice for this cache.

While there is a path that runs along the west shore of Duffin's creek, I strongly recommend that people avoid that path due to erosion of the bank, and especially do not attempt that path at night.  Trail head coordinates are included and while this trail is very overgrown, it will get you to the cache location without the danger of drowning.

Congratulations to Sir Biggest Foot and his FTF Posse
