The Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation Series


Placed with the kind permission of Essex Waterways. Please refer to the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation (GC37P3P) cache for more information on this walk along the canal.

Set in a rural location on the Essex/Hertfordshire border, Little Hallingbury Mill are still only a short distance away from Stansted Airport, the M11 motorway and the main line rail connection to London Liverpool Street Station.

The peaceful rural location, near to major transport links, allows couples to get away from it all and enjoy each others company without having to travel for hours to find some much treasured privacy. The availability of 3 attractive riverside walks starting from the Mill and the cosy atmosphere help to create a romantic environment.
