L'arco naturale è una struttura rocciosa presente, in forma di arco, formatasi sull'isola di Capri, per cause naturali, a seguito di processi erosivi che ne hanno interessato le rocce.
L'arco naturale si trova all'estrema punta orientale dell'isola, in una località da cui si gode la vista della prospiciente penisola sorrentina e delle isole Li Galli e dalla quale si domina lo strapiombo denominato "o' funno" (il fondo), località un tempo molto apprezzata dagli abitanti dell'isola per le attività balneari.
La località è raggiungibile esclusivamente per mezzo di itinerari pedestri: il primo di essi parte dalla piazzetta di Capri e, procedendo per varie strade, giunge in località Croce, prosegue poi in via Matromania (Matermania) e quindi in via dell'Arco naturale. Il secondo itinerario parte da punta Tragara e prosegue per strada Pizzolungo fino all'arco: lungo il percorso sono visibili i Faraglioni, villa Malaparte e la Grotta di Matromania.
Un arco naturale, o ponte naturale, è una formazione geologica in cui la roccia assume l'aspetto di un arco o di un ponte, con una via di passaggio sottostante. La genesi dell'arco roccioso risiede in un lungo processo di erosione dovuto a elementi climatici (precipitazioni atmosferiche, erosione eolica, escursione termica, umidità) o all'acqua. Per tale motivo gli archi naturali tendono normalmente ad assottigliarsi nel corso nel tempo, sino a crollare.

Arco naturale is a natural arch on the east coast of the island.
A natural arch or natural bridge is a natural geological formation where a rock arch forms, with an opening underneath. Most natural arches form as a narrow ridge, walled by cliffs, become narrower from erosion, with a softer rock stratum under the cliff-forming stratum gradually eroding out until the rock shelters thus formed meet underneath the ridge, thus forming the arch. Natural arches commonly form where cliffs are subject to erosion from the sea, rivers or weathering (subaerial processes); the processes "find" weaknesses in rocks and work on them, making them larger until they break through.
The choice between bridge and arch is somewhat arbitrary. The Natural Arch and Bridge Society identifies a bridge as a subtype of arch that is primarily water-formed. By contrast, the Dictionary of Geological Terms defines a natural bridge as a "natural arch that spans a valley of erosion."
Dating from the Paleolithic age, it is the remains of a collapsed grotto.
