The Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation Series


Placed with the kind permission of Essex Waterways. Please refer to the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation (GC37P3P) cache for more information on this walk along the canal.

Tropical Wings is set in acres of attractive gardens and features one of the largest butterfly houses in the country.

Livestock includes free-flying butterflies, a large collection of exotic parrots, marmoset monkeys, minibeasts, otters, goats, red squirrels, wallabies, meerkats, owls, skunks, ponies, marbled polecates, reptiles, ring-tailed lemurs, donkeys, birds of prey, coatis, mara, pets corner and farmyard area.
