Geocache Description:


In het landschap, langs de dreef naar het kasteel van Heks(Hex), vind je vier boomtenten waarin je kan overnachten. De traanvormige sculpturen hangen aan hoogstammen en vormen een alternatief onderkomen om een nacht in Haspengouw door te brengen. De sculpturen zijn hoofdzakelijk tentconstructies die TIJDELIJK geplaatst worden. Ze nodigen uit om ze te bezetten, erin te verblijven of eronder te schuilen. . In the landscape, next to the lane heading to the castle of Heks, you can find four tree tents where you can spend the night. The tear-shaped sculptures are hanging from standard trees and provide an alternative form of accommodation to spend a night in Haspengouw. The work of Dré Wapenaar (NL) is always situated on the border between architecture and sculpture, between a stay and a meet. His sculptures are mainly tent constructions that are placed temporarily. The social interaction around the work is of great importance for the artist.
