This is a challenge cache and is located at the posted coordinates.
In order to log this cache you only have to find 12 caches. Of course it isn't quite as simple as that.
The catch is that you have to have found the caches on the first day of each month of the year.
There are no restrictions for the type of cache and caches found before the publication of this cache do count. I'm sure that a lot of the cachers who have been at this a while already qualify and for the newer cachers this will give a reason to get out and start each new month with a find.
When logging the cache you can post a list of the GC codes for the 12 caches or if you have the statistics enabled on your profile just mention it in your log so I can verify it. If you don't qualify when you find the cache, just post a note and when you do qualify it can be changed to a found log. Any "found it" logs that don't meet the requirements for the challenge will be deleted.
The cache is located off a public trail system in the Oshawa Valley Lands. The ground can be marshy in spring and after heavy rain, there are some deadfalls to get past and in summer the weeds can be very thick. I'm not sure about poison ivy or stinging nettles since the plants are all dead this time of year, but I'll keep an eye on the logs and the area. It isn't nearly as hard to get to in late fall.
So....Who is #1?
