View of Burnt Rock Traditional Cache

A 1 quart loc n loc (with camo tape) hidden about 5 feet above the
ground. It is about 1,5 miles up the Hedgehog Brook trail, just
before the stairs. There a view of the summit through the trees,
until the leaves come back. This is the 2nd of 4 caches I've placed
up here.
The trail begins at the parking lot at the end of Big Basin Road
before the steel pipe gate. There are several stream crossings. The
stream right at the trail-head might be difficult during times of
heavy rain, or spring melt runoff.
The trail to Burnt Rock Mt is well maintained, with about 1300 feet
elevation gain to this cache.
If you continue on to the summit from this cache, the trail gets
steep with a couple stairs, and large rock step ups.
