Located along the road from Karoonda to Tailem Bend. The road is bitumen and cache is a short distance off road. Take care to watch out for snakes in this area and watch out for the kids, including crossing the road as well as the presence of the railway line close by.
This cache is dedicated to a fellow cacher How Do They Know? (Bob) who introduced me to geocaching in late 2008. He became a member on 22nd October 2008. It took me another 6 months to do the same. For the first 12 months he kindly provided the GPS power. Bob believes in quality rather than quantity when caching but still has found over 700 caches in five states on the mainland Australia. He is the owner of two. It is always enjoyable and fun when Bob comes along for geocaching expeditions or events (not to mention fishing, 4WD'ing and camping at other times). I think he well deserves to be "immortalised" as a part of this series dedicated to wandering heroes.
The contents are the usual exchangeables as well as a logbook and a pen. Happy hunting.
