Geocache Description:

GPS signal may be a bit bad here. You can take a walk around the area or literally just drive up to it. NOTE: There is no physical cache placed here!!!! (Unfortunately, the website won't aloow me to change the "geocache type" so I'm listing it as "other" for the size. Please INCLUDE A PICTURE OF YOURSELF OR YOUR GPS NEAR THE GATE WITH EVERY LOG in order to "Find" this cache. More details below under "IMPORTANT."

****Please note that you are not REQUIRED to find this cache! I clearly explain this cache in the details/information section below. If you want to find qualcosa di meglio, look for caches with favorite points. Seeing people's logs insulting my hometown is getting irritating.**** We were really excited about placing Our First International Cache so we decided to place this one after driving around the picturesque Old Molfetta (which we recommend only walking through since the streets are so tiny). This area is right by where my parents and grandparents grew up. (If you have the extra time, we recommend visiting nearby Molfetta Vecchia.) This isn't a multi cache but here are a few places from their childhood that are barely 100 feet away. House #32 with the big gray door is where my father was born and grew up. House #31 where my mom would hang out downstairs with the chickens. And right by the cache, there are gates. Depending on when you go, if you look through those gates you can see people building boats or you'll see boats in the process of being built. This is were my grandfather made a living building boats. **IMPORTANT** We realized maintaining this cache would be too much but we don’t want to archive this because this is somewhere I keep near and dear to my heart. This is being changed to a different type of cache. WITH EVERY LOG PLEASE INCLUDE A PICTURE of yourself with your GPS (or just your GPS) near the gate. We would like to see beyond the gate. My grandfather used to build boats back there and until a few years ago, there were no gates. When I was a kid I would be able to walk up to the boats and usually see a bunch of stray cats and a few stray dogs near the boats. Send me a picture of home. With the picture, you can log a “found” for this cache.
