Kona's Kache Traditional Cache
3HunterGirls: Sorry to say that our cache was muggled. We can't replace it as we moved to Maui. We thought it would be indestructible. For those of you that had found it, you know what we mean as the cement sleeve and lid were heavy, thick and indestructible. We thought the Secret Service may have removed it as it was close to the Obama's place. Someone posted a log after the holidays so this argues against that idea. Thanks to HuliGirl for letting us know what happened and sending us pics. We still love our doggie, Kona Boo, and will remember her forever.

In honor our of our chocolate lab, Kona. We lost our dog in July of 2011. She was almost twelve. Her last day was a great day on this beach. She loved swimming in the surf. We took her geocaching with us all the time. She was a great pet. More than a pet, she was part of our family.
We have been a bit surprised at how difficult this cache has been to find. We are even more surprised, and disappointed, that someone was damaging the bushes. Very, very sad to hear that.
We have increased the difficulty for the time being and adding to the hint. The added hint is in the hopes that no one damages the bushes.
You are looking for a regular size cache that is well hidden or at least we think so. There is no public beach access nearby so a nice walk along the beach will be required. Best place to start is N 21.417671 W 157.747179
Once near the cache, you will need to get down and dirty (sandy) to find it.
Congrats to DAAM Cachers for FTF. Neat that our three girls were there with their two girls to share the experience. Neat also to see that some find it easy, others hard to find. Cool thing about geocaching is that everyone's experience is unique.
