A cache dedicated to one of my favorite books by one of my favorite
authors. I love this story so much, long ago I purchased a first
edition, first printing of it and it sits in our china cabinet. It
is a great book by Ernest Hemingway.
Some of my favorite lines from the book are:
"As he watched the bird dipped again slanting his wings for the dive and then swinging them wildly and ineffectually as he followed the flying fish."
"The water was a dark blue now, so dark that it was almost purple."
"He was an old man who fished alone in a skiff in the Gulf Stream and he had gone eighty-four days now without taking a fish."
"He was comfortable but suffering, although he did not admit the suffering at all."
"Think of what you can do with what there is."
"He was waking up now although it was still hard for him to leave his sleep."
"The blood ran down his cheek a little way."
"The old man was thin and gaunt with deep wrinkles in the back of his neck."
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.
