Hills & Dales Traditional Cache
GeoElmo6000: This was supposed to be hidden up in a tree but a previous finder let me know that they found it on the ground. With the DNF of an uber-cacher, I'm going to assume this is now gone. I'm going to archive this one, as I really have no intention of maintaining it anymore.

This is a sad tale of some woods that stopped being played in over the years.
As a kid, I spent a lot of time in these woods with my friends, riding bikes on the trails (over hills and dales), building forts, playing manhunt, catching minnows, and generally just having fun. Back then you could spend dawn till dusk in the woods and your parents didn't worry about it at all. As I was thinking of a place to hide a geocache, I thought of these woods, thinking back to how easy the trails were to navigate and how this would be a simple cache to find. When I arrived, I saw that the woods had become overgrown with disuse over the years. There were no more bike trails, though I could find the places where the trails used to be. I told my friends who used to play here as well and they were heartbroken.
The cache is a relatively easy find but the woods are a mess. Assume you'll be doing about 200 feet of bushwhacking. The cache is next to one of the former trails I used to ride, though you may not be able to tell.
Please rehide this cache well. I don't expect any muggles in the area, but you never know.
