Geocache Description:

This is one of ten caches that led up to the Red Deer Geocachers’ 2011 Christmas event (GC37PXD). Thank you to choice1 for supplying the cache container and original contents.

What to do with a bunch of grain that you need to cache? From this location an older solution can be seen to the east and a more modern version to the south. The seven older granaries are always a favorite view whenever we travel eastbound on this part of Hwy 11. They never seem to change, but the atmosphere around them shifts constantly. They are quite picturesque, so feel free to capture their mood during your visit (without trespassing on the farmer's field, obviously) and post your photo with your log to be included in the Granary Gallery. (See the Image Gallery link just above the logs.)

A 870 ml LnL placed up off the ground. Please reposition securely and cover carefully.

Caution is advised in the ditch. It is narrow but deep and care should be taken in wet or snowy conditions. Expect water under the snow in the spring.

FTF congratulations to Be-con who started what would become a well-trod geo-trail on publication day!
