This is one of ten caches placed in
conjunction with the Red Deer Geocachers' 2011 Christmas event
(GC37PXD). Thank you to choice1 for providing the cache container
and original contents.
Windbreaks or shelterbelts have long been important deterrents
to soil erosion on Alberta’s parkland. This one has been here
a long time and is starting to show its age more with every wind
storm. Please watch out for fallen branches in the long grass or
under the snow that may trip you up. For access from Hwy 2, use the
McKenzie Road overpass.
A 470 ml LnL placed off the ground. Enjoy.
Congratulations to AB Cache Crew for
venturing out in the fresh winter wonderland to be FTF! The trees
must have been very pretty in the new snow. Thanks for the great
log.
