Sometimes joy and beauty come not from the mountain grandeur but from a single pretty pebble, not from a great tree but from one delicately colored leaf. Nothing obvious drew us to stop here, but we stopped during the year’s first snowstorm to look around. The skiff of snow on the grass had created lacy patterns. Fleeting, generally overlooked, but beautiful just the same. What will you find today?
