Mollie's Hemlock Forest Traditional Cache
Kimchi: Thanks to geocacher and final finder dulamb for informing me of the change of ownership of this cache property. I hope that this beautiful place will continue to be cherished and preserved. Maybe the new property owners will allow a cache to be placed someday after renovations are complete and they are all settled in. Bye, Mollie!

Hidden on private property with the owners’ kind permission. Search during daylight hours only. Also, to protect the lawn, please take the stone pathway from the front entrance, down and around to the forest. Look for a good-sized clear plastic container.
Step back in time to seek your treasure hidden among the towering hemlocks. Maybe you’ll feel the spirit of Mollie, who once boarded railway workers here in the late 1800’s. You’ll find other treasures on this property too, including an antebellum springhouse and the oldest documented Norway Spruce in Georgia.
Stan and Christine welcome visitors to this historic location, the oldest of its kind in Georgia. They are the nicest folks, and even though scenes from Deliverance were filmed here, Stan promises not to shoot at you. Feel free to say hello to them and their very friendly pups, K. and Dixie. (Dixie's an American Bulldog mix.)
