On Feb 11, 2012, through the encouragement and support of Friends of Coconio County Parks, the first of a 6 week program started with geocaching at Fort Tuthill County Park. It was a class tailored to new-bees interested in learning more about geocaching. In attendance we had around 30 kids and adults. We offered some experimental caches, hot coco, and a friendly encouraging atmosphere.

It was a large success. So here is a new Flagstaff cache to commemorated the experience.

Geocaching when combined with support from the local community and parks departments makes for an all-time grand outdoors adventure.
