Join the Cache-Keteers for
an afternoon of good coffee, snacks, and of course, some good
caching discussions at the Cafe Creme internet cafe in
Shawnigan Lake. Gather up your TB's,
coins, caching stories and Christmas cheer. The event will be
getting underway at 1:00pm but feel free to show up whenever you
can. We'll be there until 3:00 pm.
We all love milestones. If we are hitting our first 10, 100, 1,000,
or 10,000, or something in between, it's always exciting. Sometimes
we plan our milestones to be a very old cache, a cache that takes
all day to find, a difficult cache, a fun cache, or an event.
Sometimes friends place caches to announce our milestones. This is
a great opportunity for milestone awards to be presented, so if you
have reached a milestone or are very close, or plan to award one to
someone else, please let us know.
Sheesh is celebrating her 5000th! That is a lot of
smiles!
We will be having a gift exchange. If you
wish to participate please bring a WRAPPED gift valued in the $5 -
$10 range that is related to geocaching or hiking outdoors for
the gift exchange! ![](http://img.geocaching.com/cache/36eaee52-bc1e-4ae6-8121-d71b0f06274d.jpg)
Please keep the gifts under $10 and bring
a gift for each member of your team who would like to
play.
Never attended an event? Don't be shy,
the local geocaching community is very friendly and welcoming and
you will feel like part of the family right away.
