Located in the heart of Spencer Park, in a nice quiet spot.
Done as part of a P.R.I.D.E challenge for Windsor School Primary! :-) ***NB: We have recently moved to Oz from CHCH and will no longer be able to take care of this cache, but there seems to be plenty of interest in it, so if anyone is interested in taking over looking after it, please do! It is in such a great spot!! :-) ***
The cache is located in the heart of Spencer Park and can be accessed via the beach access roads or from the kids park/BBQ areas, but it will be a bit of a hike! :-).
The cache is a 1L camo painted Systema plastic container, with log book and trade items. Once you are near the cache, go through the gate by following Uniform Rd. After approx. 30m, go past the RED mountain bike track post, which should be on your right. Now veer off to the right, past the flax, and you will come to a wee hill with "4 sisters." You might need to do a wee bit of climbing!
Special present for the first to find ;-). As Spencer Park is quite a popular area, and there are LOTS of mountain bikers lurking about, make sure to watch out for muggles and time it right!

Located 14km north-east of Christchurch. The main access is off Lower Styx Road and Heyders Road.
Gates are open from 8am–7pm.
Daylight saving months: gates are open from 8am–9pm.
The Animal Park is open from 9am–4pm.
Gate closures are administered by ADT security. A call out fee will be charged to release vehicles. Beach gates are closed at all times.
